Wikileaks volunteer and American fugitive currently in self-imposed exile in the Netherlands and Germany Jacob Appelbaum recently did a public lecture in which he claimed that he risks going to jail for a maximum of 45 years in his home country of America if he gets indicted with regards to the Grand Jury criminal investigation that was launched against him and others associated with Wikileaks for the purpose of investigating the nature and extent of their involvement with Wikileaks at the time of the Bradley Manning leaks in the winter of 2009-2010.

We see that targeted surveillance happens through mass-surveillance. So, there is this part of the discourse which I also wanna call out, which is… a lot of really respectable people talk about how mass surveillance bothers them but targeted surveillance doesn’t bother them at all, because everybody knows there’s, like, somebody who is a valid target.
But as a person who is being targeted in an espionage investigation in the United States and looking at 45 years in prison, I personally would like to say just because you might be a “valid target” doesn’t mean that we should end the discussion there.
Below is a list of the public tweets that Jacob Appelbaum tweeted while he was in Iceland in the winter of 2010. As you can plainly see any reference to Wikileaks or him being involved with Wikileaks or being around Wikileaks is absent from these public tweets.
Wikileaks number two man at the time Daniel Domscheit-Berg confirmed in his book Inside Wikileaks that Jacob Appelbaum was in Iceland in the winter of 2010 to work with Wikileaks. Other than this confirmation, the nature of the work that he performed with Wikileaks while in Iceland is unknown and Domscheit-Berg does not disclose any details in his book.
In 2011 a televison documentary was screened by the VPRO channel in their Tegenlicht program titled The Wikileaks Code. The events in Iceland in the winter of 2010 were discussed, but Jacob Appelbaum’s involvement was never brought up or addressed. This documentary (partially in English, Dutch subs) is available here:
“There was a conference on the 1st of December [2009] which was held by the Icelandic Digital Freedom Society and I asked if anyone from Wikileaks would be interested in coming to a conference in Iceland to give a speech. Julian only finally confirmed that he was coming a week beforehand.”
This statement suggests that Daniel Domscheit-Berg and Assange were in Iceland before Appelbaum showed up a month later.
BesidesAppelbaum’s tweets I am also including links to various timelines that have been posted online by the mainstream media detailing the dates Bradley Manning began communicating with Wikileaks, when he began leaking, when the investigation started, etc. The reader is encouraged to compare these timelines to the time frame that Jacob Appelbaum was posting the public tweets from Iceland, presumably between the 15th of January 2010 and around the 26th of January 2010 or the 3rd of February 2010. It is in this context that one should understand the Grand Jury criminal investigation into Jacob Appelbaum and the US Department of Justice’s attempts to uncover the nature and the extent of his involvement with Wikileaks in Iceland before, at or around the time of the Bradley Manning leaks.

But if prosecutors could show that Assange directed Manning in leaking government documents that he then published, this could complicate Assange’s defense that WikiLeaks is simply a journalistic endeavor.
Johnson says he also examined an external hard drive found in Manning’s bunk room in Iraq that contained a text file called wl-press.txt that was created on Nov. 30, 2009, right around the time that Manning told Lamo that he first made contact with WikiLeaks.
The file included the line: “You can currently contact our investigations editor directly in Iceland at 354.862.3481 : 24 hour service : ask for Julian Assange.”
Manning allegedly downloaded the War Logs between December 31, 2009 and January 8, 2010, and leaked them on or before February 5 — at least 10 days before leaking Collateral Murder.

If the Army is right, though, Manning had already leaked at least one thing to WikiLeaks: an encrypted copy of a video named BE22 PAX.wmv, which is likely the classified video of the notorious Gharani massacre in Afghanistan.
In the first hint that it had an important new U.S. source, WikiLeaks tweeted about its possession of that video on January 8, 2010. But the organization has never released it, possibly because its failed to crack the encryption.
The highlights of the conversation — from a prosecutor’s perspective — have already aired in Manning’s court martial and earlier hearings: in particular, Assange’s offhand agreement to try and crack an Army desktop password for Manning was offered as evidence that WikiLeaks was more like an intelligence agency than a publisher. In a statement to reporters Monday, WikiLeaks says it plans to file a criminal complaint in Sweden Tuesday morning, ahead of President Barack Obama’s visit to the country. The complaint, published on WikiLeaks.org, claims that a suitcase was seized containing three of Assange’s laptops, which he had checked during a September 2010 flight from Stockholm to Berlin. Those laptops’ encrypted hard drives, Assange says, included the Garani massacre video, as well as evidence of U.S. surveillance of Assange and a fellow activist in Germany and privileged communications between Assange and his lawyer.

That very same weekend journalist Olaf Koens tweeted that he was frisked at Lowlands [a big three day Dutch alternative music festival] by undercover agents. Following that message he wrote “ACAB”, an English acronym used by subcultures where people don’t really like cops. This acronym stands for “All Cops Are Bastards” but to avoid being persecuted one could easily claim that it means something else. For example “Eight Colas, Eights Beers” and that was also the response of the journalist when he was being overwhelmed online by responses from angry cops. They encouraged their colleagues in droves to file charges of criminal insult. Also the journalist’s client RTL News was urged to distance themselves from Koen’s statement.
The Dutch hysteria around public insult is of course a Foucauldian system designed and implemented to generate complaints from cops against citizens. These police officers need have to have something to do to justify their paycheck and they have decided that the easiest and most effortless way for them to do that is to enforce subjective and arbitrary speech laws. It doesn’t matter if the overwhelming majority of charges are eventualy dismissed for no reasonable cause. It’s all about psychologically coercing and intimidating citizens into committing acts of self-repression and self-censorship. Because these ridiculously repressive speech laws are enforced so arbitrarily and subjectively, no one really knows which utterance will get them detained, arrested, home-raided or berated, so they eventually fear political speech itself. The intent of this regime of repression and coercive censorship is cause exactly such a chilling effect.
There is a scene in the German film The Lives of Others about communist East Germany under the Soviet sphere of influence, where the Stasi officers joke about a screenwriter who was a Zersetzung target of the Stasi for writing subversive plays. He was so psychologically terrorized by the Stasi that he quit writing screenplays altogether. The Stasi officers joke that they only wanted him to quit writing subversive plays, but that he did them one better and quit writing at all. This Stasi model of psychologically coercing citizens into gagging themselves is the model that the Dutch police are implementing with regards to citizens lashing out against the police in the social media. It’s absolutely outrageous that the journalists of the NRC Handelsblad are encouraging the police to visit citizens and journalists at home, as long as they do so “in civilian clothes” so as to not appear as intimidating as in uniform <– this is the kind of absurdist Kafkaesque apologetics that only a Dutch journalist would have the nerve to print on paper. It goes without saying that a cop with a badge is still a cop with a badge regardless of the clothes he or she is wearing. Citizens are psychologically coerced and intimidated by cops showing up at their house and berating them over their comments in the social media regardless of the cop’s choice of clothes. In a real democracy with real freedom of speech no citizen should have to worry about cops showing up at his house and patronizing him for speaking his mind in the social media. The fact that this is happening in the Netherlands with mainstream journalists ideologically justifying this patronizing infantilization of citizens by authorities means that there is no real freedom of speech and no real democracy in the Netherlands. The communist Zersetzung of citizens by the Stasi was an act or repression and censorship, whether the Stasi agents would show up at people’s houses wearing their uniforms or not. This silly discussion about officers’ manner of dress is a perfect example of why I just can’t talk to Dutch people anymore: instead of discussing censorship and repression of citizens’ speech, the mainstream Dutch journalists are encouraging silly distractionary discussions about whether Dutch cops appear less intimidating without their uniforms or not.
To conclude, the Dutch police apparently doesn’t know that the acronym ACAB is also used in the radical feminist movement of which I am a feminist. In the feminist movement, the ACAB acronym actually means “All Cunts Are Beautiful” and is a slogan that is used by young radical feminists to promote acceptance of women’s natural bodies and to battle the culture of women shaming. So, as feminist I am right now going to post the ACAB acronym on my blog, using it as a feminist slogan as a feminist blogger:

In the previous two blog articles this week, I showed by means of actual mainstream documentaries what communism really did to women and homosexuals. Coincidentally I recently discovered the following Youtube channel, representative of yet another group of people in America that is mindlessly getting into communism:
The videos in this “detransition” channel, run by a certain “Nadia Yvette Chambers” (? real name?), have mock-provocative/ironic titles such as “Atheist Anarchist Communism and Vegan Transgender Feminism” (!) or “Quantifying the Atheist Anarcho-Communist Transsexual Feminist Vegan Self” (!!) or “The Gawdless Anarcho-Communist Transsexual Feminist Agenda” (!!!). These videos come in series of dozens and dozens videos that are each about 7-8 hours long on average. Nevertheless this channel has over a 1000 viewers with each video having hundreds of views, so someone out there is actually watching this! Who is watching all this? Surely not the maker himself who should’ve taken the time to edit his videos out of courtesy to his viewers and seems to make an effort out of broadcasting his every waking moment on Youtube. The owner of the channel describes his mission as “I Bring Soviet Sexual Chaos to America” (a 72 part series of 7-8 hour videos) and promises “A Soviet Vagina for Every Transsexual Woman Contrary to Christ”. A dedicated commie pinko if there ever was one This channel by Nadia takes the American communist fannishness to a whole new level of ridiculous devotion, which Nadia can always distance himself from by claiming he is merely being ironic or provocative. Transsexuals apparently are another social group in the United States of America who, witnessing American society collapse all around them, imagine the Soviet Union being some kind of a gay paradise, when, if actual communist history is anything to go by, most of these lovestruck ignoramuses would’ve ended up a communist conversion camp. I have even come across American homos in the social media celebrating the fact that Maoist party luminaries were exposed to be closet gays, ignoring the fact that Maoist communism actually repressed homos, as one can plainly read on Wikipedia:

Likewise, the Chinese government did treat homosexuality as a disease and subjected gay men to electric shock therapy and other attempts to change their sexual orientation
The usual excuse offered in the social media for this American love-affair with communism is that the European hang-up on communism is just a European thing that American homos need not be concerned with because communism was never a ruling ideology in America… which is like saying fascism would be a good idea in the US because there never was an American Hitler (was there? 😉 ) and the European hang-up with Nazis is just a European frustration that should have no bearing on Americans. It’s like Americans will bend themselves out of shape to make up excuses allowing them to salvage what they think is American communism while disavowing any association with its working ruling manifestation at the other side of the globe, which was DICKtatorial Stalinism, Maoism and the killing fields of Southern Asia.
Anyway, I am going to post the link again to the documentary Children of the Decree and the excerpt about communist conversion therapy and prison camps from the documentary Improper Conduct in the hopes that Nadia and his followers will watch these documentaries and wisen up about communism. Communism was no friend of women and homos, or anyone other than the Party Elite for that matter, and if trans had been around during communism they wouldn’t have been treated any different from women and homos and any other person who wasn’t part of the Party Elite. Again, I can totally understand Americans wanting to criticize or even reject their capitalist system, but this a-historical love-affair with communism is not the way to do it.
Not only are American feminists mindlessly praising communism in the social media lately, another group that has no idea about communism and has been ignorantly posting in favour of communism is American homos. For this group I am going to post the following excerpt from a documentary about Cuban exiles, where a Cuban poet explains how homosexuals were treated under communism in Fidel Castro’s Cuba: they were locked up in prison camps and forced to undergo conversion therapy. No feminist aware of the history of women under communism should be praising communism.
